If you are wishing for a soft, silky, and healthy-looking hair, Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the solution! Substitute your expensive hair treatment with olive oil to help you fight your dry, unmanageable and frizzy hair.
This treatment is both an easy and healthy process!



Instructions:

1) Depending on the length of your hair, warm up the right amount of olive oil (1/2 cup for short hair and 1 cup for long hair). The temperature of the oil should be warm, but not to hot.

2) Massage the oil to your hair. (Begin with the ends and work your way to the scalp. Focus mostly on the ends)

3) Place a plastic bag or a plastic cap then wrap your hair with a towel to let the oil saturate your hair. Leave the oil in for 30-45 minutes. I would recommend keeping it on while taking a hot shower that way the steam will enhance the oil’s saturation.

4) Finally, rinse and shampoo your hair at least twice with cool water. Then style as usual.

Recommendations:

• This process should be done 2 to 4 times a month
• Results are not instant. It takes at least few treatments before changes starts to appear; especially if your hair is dry and damaged.
• Make sure not to overheat the oil and burn yourself. Test the temperature of the oil before applying it.
• To prevent breakout, make sure the oil does not get on your skin. Wipe and wash immediately if the oil gets on your skin.
• It is not necessary to use a conditioner after shampooing. However, if you chose to, make sure to use a smaller amount than usual.
• To avoid oily results, make sure to shampoo your hair well and rinse out all residues of olive oil.
